Two sources, both driven by you. First, a global, market-wide search of the open web for roles matching your titles and location (powered by Google for Jobs and major job boards). Second, any 'dream companies' you name, and we pull their current openings straight from their applicant tracking system (Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby). Smart Job Discovery does not scrape job boards. The market-wide search runs through a licensed third-party jobs API (the same Google for Jobs index that surfaces postings in ordinary search results), which returns only public job listing data. When you name a 'dream company', we query that company's public, unauthenticated ATS job-board API (Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby) on demand, hitting the very endpoints their own careers page calls. We retrieve only public job listing data (no personal data), and only to show you matching roles. When you add a job yourself by pasting its link, we fetch that one public page on your behalf to read the posting.
